As you enter the gate to the temple, there is a path on the right that leads around to the rear of the temple. It is a great place to sit with children and share with them your feelings about and testimony of the temple.
The Baton Rouge stake center has several picnic tables set up under some wonderful shade trees. Bring a lunch and have a picnic overlooking the most holy spot in the city.
